Ferentz and barta will select the best candidate whether that be from within of whether than be a new face. The U of I is not an probably will struggle to ever be an Ohio State or a Michigan, the year we had this year is not great but we are bowling and will get national attention against oklahoma. I am very tired of Hawk fans who don't realize how lucky we are to have ferentz as our coach and to be as successful as we are. we have 4 star recruits coming to Iowa and espn top 150s looking at us I would say we are doing just fine maybe another slight rebuilding year in 2012 and then in 2013 should have another 10+ win season.

U can't call losing players to the draft and graduating many players to the NFL cyclical. They had a young team this year. We will be right back in the hunt next year. Besides the offensive coordinator should be more of a concern. I can sit on the couch at home telling what plays are being called by predictable Ken O'Keefe. Now he is a joke. With the offense we had this year we should have been blowing teams out and not putting pressure on our defense. How do you beat Michigan then can't move the ball against Minnesota. Really?
